General thyroid hormone resistance syndrome

Abstract
There are some difficulties in diagnosis and therapy of thyroid hormone resistance syndrome. Although it is characterized by elevated serum levels of thyroid hormones and failure to suppress pituitary thyrotrophin secretion, metabolic state is usually euthyoidic because of variable refractoriness to hormone action in peripheral and pituitary tissues. We are presenting the multinoduler euthyroidic patient with high levels of thyroid hormones and TSH.
Özet
Tiroid hormon rezistans sendromu tanı ve tedavisinde bir takım güçlükler taşıyan ve ender rastlanılan bir olgudur. Klinik olarak genelde ötiroid olmakla beraber TSH ve tiroid hormonlarını seviyelerinin yüksekliği söz konusudur. Multinodüler guatrlı, tiroid hormonları ve TSH seviyesi yüksek ötiroid bir olguyu sunuyoruz.
