Abstract
Congenital extremity anomalies are caused by pathologicalchanges during the development process of the embryo.Exposure to toxins during 4-12 weeks of pregnancy may leadto extremity anomalies. In this article, we present a girl patientborn as one of triplets at the 31 st week and fifth day of pregnancywith meningomyelocele, Arnold-Chiari type 2 malformation,developmental dysplasia of the right hip, hypothyroidism, andlower extremity anomaly. Mother had a history of antenatalusage of sodium valproate. Radiographic examination of thelower extremity showed medial location of the fibula.

Doğumsal ekstremite anomalileri, embriyonun gelişimsürecindeki patolojik değişikler sonucunda meydana gelir.Gebeliğin 4-12. haftalarında toksin maruziyeti ekstremiteanomalilerine yol açabilir. Bu makalede üçüz eşi olarak31 hafta beş günlük doğan, meningomiyeloseli, Arnold-Chiari tip 2 malformasyonu, sağ gelişimsel kalça displazisi,hipotirodi ve alt ekstremite anomalisi olan bir kız hastasunuldu. Annenin antenatal sodyum valproat kullanım öyküsüvardı. Alt ekstremitenin radyolojik incelemesinde fibulanınmedial yerleşimli olduğu görüldü.
