The point reached in the fight against child labour in the world and some predictions for the future

Abstract

Today, it is known that the child labour problem which is on-going almost over all the worldfor centuries is still exist regardless of the level of its development almost every country in theworld. The problem has attracted the international community s attention increasingly becauseof it s negative effects on child s development. The main purpose of this study is to demonstratechildren s workforce determinants and put out efforts to reduce child labour under the light ofILO reports in the world and make some predictions for the future.

Özet

Yüzyıllardır dünyanın hemen her yerinde görülen çocuk işçiliğinin, bugün de gelişmişlikdüzeyi ne olursa olsun dünyanın hemen her ülkesinde değişik biçimlerde varlığını sürdürdüğübilinmektedir. Çocuğun gelişimi üzerindeki olumsuz etkileri nedeniyle konu uluslararasıtoplumun giderek daha fazla dikkatini çekmektedir. Bu çalışmanın temel amacı, çocukişgücünün belirleyicileri ve ILO raporları ışığı altında dünyada çocuk işgücünün azaltılmasıçabalarında gelinen noktayı ortaya koymak ve geleceğe yönelik bazı tahminlerde bulunmaktır.
