Abstract

In the linear regression models with indicator variables when the observations have autocorrelations, it is investigated whether autocorrelations are the result of an omitted regressor. If there exists such a variable, it is included in the model, thus autocorrelation disappears, then the analysis of the model is established by using the usual procedures. In this study a linear model with indicator variables and errors which have auto-correlation was introduced and the analysis of variance of the model was considered. Afterwads the way of using the model was explained with the examplary problem of searching the effect of seasons to the water consumption of families.
