THE METAPHOR OF “INSECT” INEDİP CANSEVER’S POEMS

Abstract

Among the basic problems of human beings are loneliness, alienation and inability to realize its existence. This situation is not only of psychology, but also of philosophy. In particular, thinkers like Heidegger, Nietzsche, Sartre, Jaspers reveal important findings about one's existence. The person who cannot realize his existence is dragged into depression. Faced with the identity crisis, the person goes towards the annihilation. The person who closes, closes, is irrelevant to what is going on around him, automates after a point, he can experience the fragmentation of identity, the problem of identity. The person, who has problems with the inner and outer world, goes towards nothing and starts to see himself as an insect. Especially the person who is alienated by the influence of modernism, can find himself meaningless, take a nihilistic structure, and may even undergo a change / transformation in his subconscious or consciousness. Man sometimes prefers different narrative forms to make sense of the events, situations and entities he encounters. One of them is using metaphor. Expresses person, entity or concepts in metaphorical expression with other entities or concepts. Edip Cansever gives a great place to metaphorical narration in his poems. In his many poems, Cansever refers to the individual's “rottenness”, “thrownness”, “nothingness” and “loneliness inde. His poetic characters are depressive in communication, loneliness and unhappiness, and they occasionally show a nihilistic structure. Cansever focuses on the individual's inner world conflicts, identity conflicts, her mental state producing suffering and distress. Özet

İnsanın temel sorunları arasında yalnızlık, yabancılaşma ve varoluşunu gerçekleştirememe gelir. Bu durum sadece psikolojinin değil, felsefenin de önemli bir ilgi alanına girer. Özellikle Heidegger, Nietzsche, Sartre, Jaspers gibi düşünürler, kişinin varoluşuna dair önemli bulgular ortaya çıkarırlar. Varoluşunu gerçekleştiremeyen kişi depresyona sürüklenir. Kimlik bunalımı ile karşı karşıya kalan kişi, hiçleşmeye doğru gider. İçe kapanan, çevresinde olup bitenlere ilgisiz kalan, bir noktadan sonra otomatlaşan insan, benlik parçalanması, kimlik sorunsalı yaşayabilir. İç ve dış dünyayla problemler yaşayan kişi, hiçliğe doğru gider ve kendisini bir böcek olarak görmeye başlar. Özellikle modernizmin etkisiyle de yalnızlaşan ve yabancılaşan kişi, kendisini anlamsız bulabilir, nihilist bir yapıya bürünebilir, hatta bilinçaltında veya bilincinde değişime/dönüşüme uğrayabilir. İnsan, karşılaştığı olay, durum ve varlıkları anlamlandırmada bazen farklı anlatım biçimlerini tercih eder. Bunlardan biri de metafor kullanmadır. Metaforik anlatımda kişi, varlık veya kavramları başka varlık veya kavramlarla ifade eder. Edip Cansever, şiirlerinde metaforik anlatıma geniş yer verir. Cansever, birçok şiirinde bireyin “çürümüşlük”, “atılmışlık”, “hiçlik” ve “yalnızlık” taraflarına yer verir. Onun şiir karakterleri iletişimsizlik, yalnızlık ve mutsuzluk içerisinde kıvranan depresif kişiler olup yer yer nihilist bir yapı gösterirler. Cansever, bireyin iç dünyasındaki çatışmalarını, kimlik çatışmalarını, onun acı ve sıkıntı üreten ruhsal durumu üzerinde yoğunlaşır. Onun şiir karakterleri genel olarak iletişimsizlik, yalnızlık ve mutsuzluk içerisinde kıvranan depresif kişiler olup yer yer nihilist bir yapı gösterirler. Bazı karakterler ruhi anlamda dönüşüm göstererek kendilerini böceğe benzetirler. Bu çalışmada amaç, Edip Cansever’in şiirlerindeki hiçleşme ve böcekleşme meselesini metaforik bağlamda ele almaktır.
