RAMAZAN MİSAFİRLİĞİNDEN DÜZENLİ DEVAMA: CAMİDE KADIN CEMAAT

Abstract

Attendance of women to congregation at mosques/ masjids were at the highest level during our Prophet (pbuh)'s time in Medina and in the history of revelation it has never been accepted or encouraged highly compared to that level. However after Prophet (pbuh), this understanding changed back quickly the rate of women 's congregation praying in the mosque had decreased rapidly. This perception has been prolonged for centuries. In our country as women's attendance to social life becomes more visible, this perception started to be rethought. This study will focus on the problems preventing women's continuity in attendance to mosques in Turkey especially in urban life and the solutions to overcome those problems

Kadının mâbeddeki ibadetlere katılımı belki de vahiy tarihiboyunca hiçbir zaman, Hz. Peygamber'in Medine yıllarındaolduğu kadar üst seviyede hüsnükabul görüp teşvik edilmemiştir.Ne var ki O'nun vefatından sonra algılar eski kabulleredoğru evrilmiş ve camiye devam eden kadın cemaatinoranı hızla düşmüştür. Yüzyıllar boyunca devam edegelenbu durum, kadının sosyal hayata katılımının daha görünürolmasıyla ülkemizde üzerinde yeniden düşünülen konulardanbiri hâline gelmiştir. Bu çalışmada Türkiye'de şehir hayatıözelinde kadın cemaatin camilere devamlılığının sağlanmasıönündeki engeller ve bunların aşılabilmesi için çözüm yollarıüzerinde durulacaktır.
