Metaphysics of Worships in Ismail Hakkı Bursawi

Abstract

In this paper the metaphysics of worships matter which is one of the common subjects of sufism literature, was handled through the approaches of Ismail Hakkı Bursawi who is one of the important figures of Ottoman sufism idea. (d.1137/1725) In the study, context and limits of the subject were contacted and sheria-reality discussions affecting the approaches of sufis to metaphysics of worships and their effect on Bursawi's worship understanding were emphasized. After a panoramic literature summary about metaphysics of worship, Bursawi's metaphysics of worship was handled under the scope of basic worships which are ablution, prayer, zakat, fasting and pilgrimage

Bu makalede tasavvuf literatürünün müşterek bir mevzûu olan ibâdetler metafiziği meselesi, Osmanlı tasavvuf düşüncesinin önemli isimlerinden İsmâil Hakkı Bursevî'nin (ö.1137/1725) yaklaşımları üzerinden ele alınmıştır. Çalışmada konunun kapsam ve sınırlarına temas edilerek sufilerin ibâdetler metafiziğine dair yaklaşımlarına etki eden şerîat-hakîkat ilişkisine ve bu ilişkinin Bursevî'nin ibâdet anlayışına etkisine değinilmiştir. İbâdetler metafiziği hakkındaki panoramik bir literatür özetinin ardından temel ibâdetler olan, abdest, namaz, zekat, oruç ve hac kapsamında Bursevî'de ibâdetler metafiziği ele alınmıştır
