ABOUT THE EUPHEMISMS IN NEHCU'L-FERADIS

Abstract

Language renews itself constantly within the framework of its grammars. This can be done by either the derivation of new words or having a different point of view to existing words. In this framework, the language expands the conceptual meaning of words by expanding their meaning fields. Assuming the meaning of the word. The meaning of the word comes from the historical and cultural adventure of the language, the perception of society or emotional reasons. In the study, mostly for emotional reasons, the universe meaning is expanded and the words included in the euphemism category will be emphasized,just as human beings, by nature, want to escape from environments and situations where he is physically anxious, he has also avoided the pronunciation of concepts that will create spiritual unrest. Coverings are generally said to beuneasiness, embarrassment, fear can be explained as words to reduce their negative mental effect instead of some concepts. The present study will focus on the euphemism in Nehcü’lFeradis, which covers the vocabulary of Khwarezm Turkish. In this study, Nehcü’lFeradis was searched for euphoric words, The coverings found were analyzed in terms of meaning and tried to be classified, The classified words are witnessed by the sentences in the work. At this point, 91 euphemisms and word groups were identified in the text examined. The number of euphemism words by languages is given in table.

Dil kendi kuralları bağlamında sürekli kendini yeniler. Bunu hem yeni sözcük türetme yollarıyla hem de mevcutkelimelere yeni kavram alanları açma yoluyla gerçekleştirir. Bu çerçevede dil, sözcüklerin anlam alanlarını genişleterekkavram karşılıklarını genişletir. Sözcüğün anlam üstlenmesi dilin tarihi ve kültürel serüveni, toplum algısı veya duygusalnedenlerle olmaktadır. Çalışmada daha çok duygusal sebeplerle anlam evreni genişlemiş ve örtmece kategorisine dahiledilen sözcükler üzerinde durulacaktır. İnsan doğası gereği nasıl ki fiziksel olarak tedirgin olduğu ortam ve durumlardankaçmak isterse manevi olarak da huzursuzluk yaratacak kavramların telaffuzundan da kaçınmıştır. Örtmeceler de genelitibariyle söylenmesinden tedirginlik duyulan, utanılan, korkulan kimi kavramların yerine onların negatif ruhsal etkiderecesini düşürecek sözcükler olarak açıklanabilir. Eldeki çalışmada Harezm Türkçesinin söz varlığını önemli orandakapsayan Nehcü’l Feradis'te yer alan örtmece kelimeler üzerinde durulacaktır. Çalışmada Nehcü’l Feradis örtmecekelimeler yönünden taranmış, bulunan örtmeceler anlam yönünden ele alınıp tasnif edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Tasnif edilensözcükler eserdeki cümlelerle tanıklanmıştır. Bu noktada incelenen metinde 91 örtmece kelime ve kelime grubu tespitedilmiştir. Bulunan örtmece kelimelerin dillere göre sayısı tablolar halinde verilmiştir.
