Abstract
Leather and leather products used for upholstery items in automotive industry is member of leather group expected highperformance characteristic. In addition, there is no quality criteria of automotive leathers yet, Each brand determines owncriteria for leathers to be purchased. In this article improved test methods are given by mentioning the performance propertiesexpected from automotive upholstery leathers to carry out these properties

Otomotiv endüstrisinde döşeme amaçlı kullanılan deri ve deri mamulleri yüksek performans beklenen materyaller grubundadır. Bununla birlikte; otomotiv derilerinin performans değerleri ile ilgili belirlenmiş kalite kriterleri bulunmamaktadır. Her marka, satın alacağı deriler için kendi kriterlerini belirlemektedir. Bu makalede araba döşemelik derilerinden beklenen performans özelliklerinden bahsedilerek bu özelliklerin ortaya konulması için geliştirilen test metotları verilmektedir.
