Determining of hopeful narbonne vetch (Vicia narbonensis I.) lines for hay and seed yield in Çukurova conditions

Abstract
This study was carried out to determine the suitable narbonne vetch (Vicia narbonensis L.) lines for the Çukurova region. The research was designed in complete randomized blocks with three replications at the Experimental Field of Agricultural Faculty of Çukurova University in the 1996/97 and 1997/98 years. In this research, The hay yield was determined together with, seed and yield components of some narbonne vetch lines. According to the means of the combined two years; days to flowering, plant height, fresh herbage yield, hay yield, total pod number per plant, seed number per plant, harvesting index, seed weight per plant, 1000-seed weight, seed yield were changed between 105.5-121.0 days, 59.1-74.2 cm, 1599.0-2680.0 kg $da^{-1}$,179.0-289.0 kg $da^{-1}$,5.8-10.1 number per plant, 16.4-30.4 number per plant, 20.73-38.61 %, 2.80-4.52 g per plant, 104.1-190.9 g and 64.0-141.3 kg $da^{-1}$, respectively.
Özet
Bu araştırma, ot ve tohum verimi bakımından Çukurova koşullarına uygun koca fiğ (Vicia narbonensis L.) hatlarının saptanması amacıyla, 1996/97 ve 1997/98 yetiştirme yıllarında, Çukurova Üniversitesi Ziraat Fakültesi Tarla Bitkileri Bölümünde, taban koşulları temsil eden arazide 3 tekrarlamalı tesadüf blokları deneme desenine göre yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada, ICARDA'dan sağlanan 15 hat ve bir de kontrol olmak üzere toplam 16 hatta, ot ve tohum verimi ile verimle ilişkili özellikler saptanmıştır. Araştırmada, iki yıllık ortalamalara göre; çiçeklenmeye kadar geçen gün sayısı 105.5-121.0 gün, bitki boyu 59.1-74.2 cm, yaş ot verimi 1599.0-2680.0 kg/da, kuru ot verimi 179.0-289.0 kg/da, toplam bakla sayısı 5.8-10.1 adet/bitki, tane sayısı 16.4-30.4 adet/bitki, hasat indeksi %20.73-38.61, tane ağırlığı 2.80-4.52 gr/bitki, 1000 tane ağırlığı 104.1-190.9 gr. ve tohum verimi 64.0-141.3 kg/da arasında değişim göstermiştir.
