Abstract

In this study, the effects of rocuronium on the mean arterial pressure (MAP), heart rate (HR) and intra-ocular pressure (IOP) were investigated and compared with the effects of the vecuronium. Sixty patients (ASA I and II physical status) were included in the study. The patients were randomly divided into two groups. Rocuronium was given to the first group (rocuronium group) as a muscle relaxant, and vecuronium was given to the second (vecuronium group). MAP, HR, IOP were measured basally, just after the induction and 0.5th, 2nd, 4thand 5th minutes after intubation. In statistics "paired t" and "student's t" tests were used. Rokuronyumun ortalama arter basıncı (OAB), kalp atım hızı (KAH) ve göz içi basıncına (GİB) etkileri araştırılarak vekuronyumla karşılaştırıldı. ASA I-II grubunda 60 hasta üzerinde çalışıldı. Hastalar rastgele 2 gruba ayrıldı. Kas gevşetici olarak 1. gruba rokuronyum (0.6 mg/kg) ve 2. gruba vekuronyumun (0.15 mg/kg) verildi. OAB, KAH ve GİB ölçümleri bazal, indüksiyondan hemen sonra, indüksiyondan 0.5. ve 1.5. dk. da, entübasyondan sonra 05., 2., 4. ve 5. dk.da ölçüldü.
