Epithelioid malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumor: Case report

Abstract
Epithelioid malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumor is a very rare tumor originating from the Schwann cells and that can be confused with both other neuroectodermal neoplasms and carcinomas. The limbs are the main location of thisentity. Prognosis is poor and rate of metastasis exceeds 50%. A 31-year-old woman patient presented with epithelioid malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumor and clinical and histopathological features are discussed.
Özet
Epiteloid malign periferal sinir kılıfı tümörü, Schwann hücrelerinden köken alan ve diğer nöroektodermal tümörler ve karsinomlar ile karışabilen, çok nadir bir tümördür. Ekstremiteler, bu antitenin ana yerleşim yerleridir. Prognoz kötüdür ve %50’den fazla olguda metastaz gözlenir. Epiteloid malign periferal sinir kılıfı tümörü tanısı alan 31 yaşında bir kadın hasta, klinik ve histopatolojik özellikleri tartışılarak sunuldu.
