Some Comments on Fiction Time in Adalet Agaoglu's 'Times' Trilogy

Abstract
Adalet Agaoglu has brought a new way of opening fiction time in every one of her novels. Adalet Agaoglu, states that she writes about incidents which happen over the shortest time. In this article, Adalet Agaoglu’s three novels, Lying Down to Die (Ol-meye Yatmak), One Wedding Night (Bir Dugun Gecesi) and Hayir, which were ana-lysed under the subtitle of Short Time (Dar Zamanlar), the fiction time in each novel is analysed. The fiction time in the three novels mentioned above of Adalet Agaoglu, who makes time the most important figure in the novels which she writes, is evaluated under the sense of fiction.

Roman yazmaya olabilecek en kısa sürenin, ân’ın anlatımını gerçekleştirmek amacıyla başladığını belirten Adalet Ağaoğlu, her yeni romanıyla zaman kurgusunda yeni açılımlar getirebilen yazarlardandır. Bu makalede Adalet Ağaoğlu’nun Dar Zamanlar alt başlığıyla yayımlanan Ölmeye Yatmak, Bir Düğün Gecesi ve Hayır adlı üç romanındaki zaman kurgusu çözümlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Zamanı yazdığı romanların en önemli figürü haline getiren Adalet Ağaoğlu’nun sözü geçen üçlemesindeki zaman olgusu, kurgulama mantığı çerçevesinde değerlendirilmiştir.
