Abstract
In this study, the narratives of the immigrants from the island of Crete, who came before and during the Exchange, were evaluated in the context of their source of social history. The subject of the study is the way of life of migrants in Crete, their traditions and customs, the political and social events that forced them to migrate and the challenging stories of the migration journey.
Özet
Bu çalışmada, Girit adasından Anadoluya mübadele öncesinde ve mübadeleyle gelen Girit Göçmenlerinin Girite dair anlatıları, sosyal tarihe kaynaklık etmeleri bağlamında değerlendirilmiştir. Göçmenlerin Giritteki yaşam biçimleri, gelenek ve görenekleri, onları göçe zorlayan siyasi ve sosyal olaylarla göç yolculuğunun zorlu hikâyeleri, çalışmanın konusunu oluşturmaktadır.
