Body packer syndrome : Case report

Abstract

Body Packer Syndrome (Case Report) We reported a cocaine mule that had bowel obstruction and was treated surgically. Cocaine, which was packaged in condom, was deliberately ingested to avoid detection before passing through the custom. Based on the knowl¬edge of literature we believe that surgical removal should be preferred when the patient has sings of bowel obstruc¬tion and intoxication. The patients, who have no abnormal physical signs, are treated successfuly by conservative methods.
