Abstract
SUMMARY Splenectomy in Hematological Diseases Splenectomy is an efficient treatment modality for the treatment of many hematological diseases. Cooperation of the surgeon with the hematologist, preop-erative preparation of the patient, surgical techniques used arid postoperative observation of the patient are all important issues of the procedure of splenectomy. The experience of the surgeon is espeically important for the success of the surgical procedure and also for the prevention of the possible preop-and postoperative complication. In this article we were aimed to review our 4 years experience in splenectomy for hematological diseases.
Özet
Hematolojik hastalıkların tedavisinde splenektomi sıklıkla baş vurulan bir tedavi yöntemidir. Herediter sferositozda % 100, immun trombositopenik purpura (ITP) larda % 80 . şifa sağlaması nedeniyle splenektomi hematolojinin vaz geçemediği bir tedavi yöntemidir. Hematologun cerrahla işbirliği, hastanın preoperatuar hazırlığı, cerrahisi ve postoperatif takibi bazı özellikleri gerektirmektedir. Cerrahın tecrübesi preoperatif, peroperatif ve postoperatif dönemde gelişebilecek komplikasyonlan önleme açısından çok önemlidir. Bu yazıda hematoloji ile yaptığımız işbirliği ve 4 yıl içindeki hematolojik hastalıklar nedeniyle uyguladığımız splenektomi tecrübelerimizi gözden geçirmeyi amaçladık.
