Abstract

This study was carried out in Erciyes University Medical Faculty, department of general surgery, between 1985-1999. In the present study 315 patients were operated on for gastric carcinoma and 24 (7.6 %) of them had primary gastric lymphoma and were included in the study. They were evaluated retrospectively according to their histopathologic types, tumour sizes and stages, surgical and adjuvant treatments and survival rates. The patients were divided into two groups.
