Turkish National Anthem by Giriftzen Asim Bey in a Hundred Years Old Music Book

Abstract
In this study, The Turkish National Anthem by Giriftzen Asım Beyand the music book including this anthem is introduced to the worldof music. From the book, it is possible to get information about themarching band repertoire of Turkey in the first quarter of 20th cen- tury. This one hundred years old book, which is not identified whoor which institution it belongs to, can be interesting for the marc- hing bands, researchers and composers, as of its content.
Özet
Bu çalışmada, Giriftzen Asım Beyin İstiklal Marşı ve marşın yer al- dığı nota defteri1, müzik dünyasına tanıtılmıştır. Defterden, 20.yüzyılın ilk çeyreğinde ülkemizdeki bando repertuarının bir kısmıhakkında bilgi edinmek mümkündür. Kime veya hangi kuruma aitolduğunu belirleyemediğimiz yüz yıllık bu nota defteri, içerik itiba- riyle bando kurumlarının, araştırmacıların ve bestecilerin ilgisini çe- kebilir.
