SAĞLIK TURİZMİ UYGULAMALARI VE TÜRKİYE’YE GETİRİLERİNE İLİŞKİN BİR DEĞERLENDİRME

Abstract

Health tourism; In addition to the patients who aim to be treated, those who want to prevent the diseases that may occur, those who have aesthetic concerns, those who seek spiritual balance, and even those who wish to realize all these within the framework of cultural tour, have become a sector. The improvement in travel facilities, competitive price practices and the difference in quality between destinations have also been the driving force in this demand. In this study, health tourism is portrayed in terms of a variety of applications, Turkey's current state of health tourism in line with the target to increase the share of the pie and assessments have been made in terms of the future.

Özet

Sağlık turizmi; tedavi olmayı amaçlayan hastaların yanı sıra oluşabilecek hastalıkları önlemek isteyenlerin, estetik kaygısı olanların, ruhsal denge arayanların ve hatta bütün bunları kültür gezisi çerçevesinde gerçekleştirmek isteyenlerin talepte bulunduğu bir sektör haline gelmiştir. Seyahat imkanlarının iyileşmesi, rekabetçi fiyat uygulamaları ve destinasyonlar arası kalite farkı da bu talebin artışında yönlendirici olmuştur. Bu çalışmada sağlık turizmi çeşitli uygulamaları açısından tasvir edilirken, Türkiye’nin sağlık turizmi pastasındaki payını artırma hedefi doğrultusunda mevcut durumu ve geleceği açısından değerlendirmelerde bulunulmuştur.
