Abstract
The purpose of this study is to determine the situation of the creative thinking on geography teaching. Situation of the buildings of the schools and impacts of the tutors have important role about emerging of the creative thinking which we formatted with directing and native character. It is important that the students could have multi purpose usage of the terms and creative thinking which the students learnt in the classroom, a different world view, independent fore wisdom and using the knowledge in daily life which they got.
Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı, yaratıcı düşüncenin coğrafya öğretimindeki yerini belirlemektir. Yönlendirmeler ve doğuştan gelen özelliklerle şekillendirdiğimiz yaratıcı düşüncenin öğrencilerde ortaya çıkmasında okullardaki mekanın durumu ve öğretmenlerin etkisi büyüktür. Öğrencilerin sınıf ortamında öğrendikleri kavramları çok yönlü ve yaratıcı düşünmeleri, farklı bir dünya görüşü, bağımsız, ileriyi görmeleri, edindikleri bilgileri günlük yaşantılarında kullanmaları açısından önemlidir.
