Abstract
Two cases with the diagnosis of battered child syndrome, autopsy performed on one, have been presented. The physical traumatic relations were examined rather than the psychological and sexual aspects despite the importance gained medically, sociologically Judicially. The battered child syndrome is a very serious clinical event that can cause sudden death in children. The doctor's conscious approach and early diagnosis will bring solution to the problem.

DÇS tanısı alan, birine otopsi yapılmış iki olgu sunulmuştur.' Medikal, sosyal ve yargısal açıdan önem kazanan konunun psikolojik, seksüel yönlerinden çok fizik travma ile olan ilgisi incelenmiştir. DÇS çocuklarda ani ölüme yol açan ağır klinik bir tablodur. Hekimin bilinçli yukluşımı ye erken tanı soruna çözüm getirecektir.
