Abstract
This study aims to introduce the impressions of George Nypels, at raveller and a journalist of the Amsterdam based newspaper entitled Algemeen Handelsblad ,on Anatolia who arrived in Ankara during the National Struggle. He travelled to Anatolia via Athens between December, 1920 and March 1921. H e got to Athens, İstanbul, İzmir, Antalya, Burdur and Ankara as well. In the meantime, the newspaper regularly published his letters including his impressions on the referred cities, situation of Greeksin Anatolia as well as the interviews he made with th e leaders of the National Struggle. The author would like to put special emphasis on the letters published in an Antalya based newspaper entitled Anadolu among the referred ones of George Nypels.
Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı Milli Mücade le döneminde Ankaraya gelen, Amsterdamda yayınlanan Algemeen Handelsblad gazetesi muhabiri George Nypelsin Anadolu izlenimlerini tespit etmektir. Gazetesinde gezgin muhabir sıfatı olan George Nypels, Aralık 1920 - Mart 1921 tarihleri arasında Atina üzerin den Anadoluya bir seyahat yaptı. Muhabir gezisi sırasında Atina, İstanbul, İzmir, Yunanlıların Anadoludaki durumu, Antalya, Burdur, Ankara, Anadolu ve Milli Mücadelenin önde gelenleri hakkında edindiği izlenimlerini mektuplar şeklinde gazetesinde yayınl amıştır. Bu çalışmada öncelikle George Nypelsin söz konusu mektuplarından Antalyada Anadolu gazetesinde yer alanları üzerinde durulmuştur.
