Positive Linear Operators Preserving τ and τ2

Abstract

In the paper we introduce a general class of linear positive approximation processes defined onbounded and unbounded intervals designed using an appropriate function. Voronovskaya type theorems are givenfor these new constructions. Some examples including well known operators are presented.
