FLAT STRONG -COVERS OF MODULES

Abstract
We say that a ring R is right generalized -semiperfect if everysimple right R-module is an epimorphic image of a áat right R-module with -small kernel. This deÖnition gives a generalization of both right -semiperfectrings and right generalized semiperfect rings. We provide examples involvingsuch rings along with some of their properties. We introduce áat strong -cover of a module as a áat cover which is also a áat -cover and use áat strong-covers in characterizing right A-perfect rings, right B-perfect rings and rightperfect rings.
