Degree of approximation by newly defined generalized Nörlund means

Abstract
In the present paper, we obtain the degree of approximation of functions belonging to Lip$(psi(t),u),u>1$ class using the newly defined generalized Nörlund means of the Fourier series ${f}(x)$. It can be remarked that the order of approximation arrived at is free from the mean generating sequence.
