Abstract
60 patients being in the programme of chronic hemodialysis in Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine hemodialysis in Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine hemodialysis center were taken into the content of the workup. The patients were divided into three subgroups consisting of 20 subjects. During three months aluminium hydroxide was given to the first, calcium carbonate to the second and calcium acetate to the third group orally. Slow wave activity which is a sign of encephalopathy in the EEG returned to normal in 3 cases (15 %) in the first, in 2 cases (10 %) in the second and in 4 cases (20 %) in the third group. As a result, it was concluded that, all these three months treatment regimens have similar effects on EEG.
Özet
Uludağ Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Hemodiyaliz Merkezinde, kronik hemodiyaliz tedavisi uygulanan toplam 60 hasta çalışma kapsamına alındı. Hastalar 20'şer kişilik 3 gruba ayrıldı. I. gruba alüminyum hidroksit, II. gruba kalsiyum karbonat, III. gruba kalsiyum asetat üç ay süreyle oral yoldan verildi. EEG 'de ensefalopatinin göstergesi olan yavaş dalga aktivitesi; I. grupta 3 vakada (% 15), II. grupta 2 vakada (% 10), III. grupta 4 vakada (% 20) normale döndü. Sonuç olarak, bu tedavi protokollerinin üç aylık uygulamasının EEG üzerinde benzer etki yaptıkları kanısına varıldı.
