Abstract
This study was carried 'out to determine the antibody prevalence against hepatitis E virus(HEV) in cases with acute non-A, non-B and non-C (NANBNC) hepatitis, in blood donors and in healthy people who admitted to Clinical Microbiology Laboratory, Faculty of Medicine, Uludağ University for determination of hepatitis markers by using enzyme imrnuno assay (EIA). The rate of seropositivity was 13 % in 23 cases with acute NANBNC hepatitis, 7.5 % in 66 blood donors, and 10.4 % in 191 healthy individuals. The differences between the results were not considered to be statistically significant (p > 0.05).
Özet
Bu çalışma akut non-A, non-B ve non-C (NANBNC) hepatitli olgularda, kan donörlerinde ve Uludağ Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi (UÜTF) Klinik Mikrobiyoloji Laboratuvarı'na hepatit markerlerinin belirlenmesi için gelen sağlıklı kişilerde, hepatit E virus (HEV) antikorlarının prevalansını enrvme immurn a.ixnv (F.IA) He araştırmak amacıyla yapıldı. Akut NANBNC hepatitli 23 olgunun % 13'Unde, 66 kan donörünün % 7.5'unda ve 191 sağlıklı kişinin % 10.4'ünde seropozitivite saptandı. Sonuçlar arasındaki fark istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bulunmadı (p > 0.05).
