Abstract
In our unit, we have asked women with high, modest, and no education if they had taken their pills, regularly. When and how many pills they had forgotten. Poorly educated housewomen were forgetting to take their pills, while women who are working outside their house were using their pills more regularly. When the women's education is higher, pill using is irregular. Appropriate piII'use is associated with older age, longer duration of the method used (at least 3 years) and desire for no more children. Women who obtain pills from government outlets are also more likely to forget to take them than women who purchase pills from drugstores.
