The treatment of unstable intertrochanteric fractures of elderly osteoporotic patients with primary partial Leinbach endoprosthesis

Abstract
Femur trochanteric fractures are the kind of fractures which are seen frequently in the elder age group. In the years between 1990-1996, at Bursa State Hospital 16 patients were treated using the method of Leinbach partial endoprösthesis. In this study, in the treatment of femur intertrochanteric fractures, the importance and the results of the primary partial Leinbach endoprösthesis applications are discussed.
Özet
Femur trokanterik bölge kırıkları ileri yaş grubunda sıklıkla rastlanılan bir kırıktır. 1990-1996 yılları arasında Bursa Devlet Hastanesinde Leinbach parsiyel endoprotezi uygulanarak 16 hasta tedavi edilmiştir. Bu çalışma ile intertrokanterik kırıkların tedavisinde primer parsiyel Leinbach endoprotezi uygulamasının yeri ve neticeleri değerlendirilmiştir.
