A METHODOLOGICAL EVALUATION RELATED TO THE HADITH AND SIYAR NARRATIVES IN THE SAMPLE OF MEDINA CONTRACT

Abstract

There is a chain of sanad at the head of the hadith narratives and this indispensable element in the hadith narratives. In the same way, in the majority of the narratives of siyar include a chain of sanad. However, isnad implementation is not an indispensable element for siyar narratives. Hadith methodologists criticize the siyar writers for many reasons. One of the most important reasons of this criticizes that they do not use a separate (isnad) for every narration. For this reason, the hadith writers do not transfer narrative from them. However, we think that the hadith methodologists are evaluating without considering the differences between the siyar and hadith science. Therefore, we defend that these disciplines should be evaluated within their own dynamics. We believe that siyar narratives may lead to non-objective evaluations when criticized in the same way as hadith narrations.

Özet

Hadis rivayetlerinin baş tarafında bir sened zinciri vardır ve bu, hadis rivayetlerindevazgeçilmez bir unsurdur. Aynı şekilde siyer rivayetlerinin ekserisinde de sened zinciriyer alır. Ancak isnad uygulaması siyer haberleri için vazgeçilmez bir unsur değildir. Bunoktada metodolojik açıdan hadis ve siyer ilimleri birbirinden ayrılır. Hadis usulcülerisiyer müelliflerini birçok nedenle eleştirirler. Bu eleştirilerin en önemli sebeplerindenbiri, onların her haber için ayrı bir isnad kullanmamalarıdır. Bu nedenle hadisçiler,onlardan rivayet nakletmezler. Ancak biz, hadisçilerin siyer ilmi ile hadis ilmi arasındaki farkları göz önüne almadan değerlendirme yaptıkları görüşündeyiz. Dolayısıyla builim dallarının kendi dinamikleri içerisinde değerlendirilmesi gerektiğini savunuyoruz.Siyer rivayetlerinin hadis rivayetleri gibi aynı yöntemle tenkit edildiğinde objektif olmayan değerlendirmelere yol açabileceği kanaatindeyiz.
