Abstract
The primary reason for the Turkish War of Independence is the unfair and arbitrary application of the Mondros Ceasefire dated 30 October 1918, signed by the Ottoman State at the end of the First World War. This study examines the process from the Mondros Agreement to the Lausanne Treaty.

Türk İstiklâl Harbini oluşturan nedenlerin başında, Osmanlı Devletince Birinci Dünya Savaşı sonunda imzalanmış olan 30 Ekim 1918 tarihli Mondros Ateşkesinin haksız ve keyfi uygulaması gelmektedir. Bu çalışmada Mondros Anlaşması'ndan Lozan Anlaşması'na kadar geçen süreci incelemektedir.
