Abstract
The 31 March Incident (13 April 1909), if Ataturk had not confiscated and suppressed the uprising in time, Turkiye would have led to a long-lasting collapse. The focus and aim of this review is to clarify Mustafa Kemal's role as a savior. It is also to assist researchers by bringing together various interpretations made on the subject since 83 years - albeit not united at some point.

31 Mart Vakası (13 Nisan 1909), Atatürk, zamanında el koyup ayaklanmayı bastırmasaydı, sonucu uzun yıllar sürecek bir çöküntüye götürebilirdi Türkıye'yi. Bu incelemenin odak noktası ve amacı Mustafa Kemal'in bu kurtarıcı rolüne gereğince açıklık getirmektir. Aynı zamanda 83 yıldan bu yana konu üzerinde yapılmış olan çeşitli yorumlan— bir noktada birleşilememiş de olsa— bir araya getirerek araştırmacılara yardımcı olmaktır.
