Millî Mücadele Döneminde Erbaa

Abstract

The occupations starting in our country after the signiture of Mudros Armistace have caused the great hesitations in ali country. Rums who have used this situation as on opportunity increased the hostile activities along with the Black Sea costals and gained the way to realize the dream of founding Pontus Rum State. The muslim population living in Erbaa located within the activity scope of Pan-Pontus in Erbaa have been just begun to organize against the miltary bands established in the region by the Rums. While Erbaa population struggled against these bands, on the other hand, they had a position in national salvation endeveaours.

Özet

Mondros Mütarekesi’nin imzalanmasından sonra ülkemizde başlayan işgaller, ülkenin dört bir yanında büyük endişelere neden olmuştur. Ülkenin İçinde bulunduğu bu zor durumu fırsat bilen Rumlar, Karadeniz sahili boyunca düşmanca faaliyetlerini artırmış ve Pontus Rum devleti kurma hayallerini gerçekleştirme yoluna gitmişlerdir. Pontusçuların faaliyet alanı içinde yer alan Erbaa’da yaşayan Müslüman nüfus, bölgede Rumlar tarafından kurulan silahlı çetelere karşı örgütlenme çalışmalarına hemen başlamıştır. Erbaa halkı bir taraftan bu çetelere karşı mücadele ederken diğer taraftan ulusal kurtuluş çalışmaları içinde yer almıştır
