Abstract

The purpose of this study is trying to understand what kind of effect does the “class management” course, regarded among compulsory courses for all teacher candidates, have on the students of philosophy teachers. This research is significant due to the fact that, while the present state of teacher training is constantly discussed, it reveals to what extent the class management course, which contains the most important theoretical knowledge in terms of overcoming the problem, is put into practice. The study group of the research consists of philosophy students taking the class management course as a part of formation training at Bingol University, Faculty of Arts and Sciences in the fall semester of 2015-2016. The population of the research is Bingol University, and the sample of the research is philosophy students. The research group consists of 87 students. This research is a descriptive study. It is both definitive and descriptive in nature in terms of research objectives. Research data were collected from the surveys conducted on students. Questionnaire of evaluating the discipline problems that philosophy teacher candidates encountered during the teaching practice were used as data collection tool within the scope of the research. The students were observed to whispear to each other (x = 3.52 ) during the course. This reveals that the teacher candidates experience many difficultiess in therms of establishing class management

Özet

Bu çalışmanın amacı, her öğretmen adayının mutlaka alması gereken ders kapsamında yürütülen "sınıf yönetimi" dersinin, dersi alan felsefe grubu öğretmenlerinin öğrencileri için ne anlama geldiğini anlamaya çalışmaktır. Bu araştırma, günümüz toplumunda öğretmen yetiştirme ile ilgili mevcut durum sürekli tartışılırken; problemi çözebilme noktasındaki en önemli teorik bilgi demeti olan sınıf yönetimi dersinin uygulamaya ne derece yansıdığını ortaya koyacağından dolayı önemlidir.Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, Bingöl Üniversitesi Fen Edebiyat Fakültesi'nde 2015-2016 eğitim öğretim yılının güz yarıyılında formasyon kapsamında sınıf yönetimi dersini alan felsefe öğrencilerinden oluşmaktadır. Araştırmanın evreni Bingöl Üniversitesi, örneklemi ise felsefe bölümü öğrencileri olarak belirlenmiştir. Araştırma grubu, 87 öğrenciden oluşmaktadır
