Analysis with Technology Acceptance Model the Tendencies of the Information Specialists Towards Utilization of the Information Technologies

Bilgi Uzmanlarının Bilgi Teknolojisi Kullanımının Teknoloji KabulModeli ile İncelenmesi

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the attitudes and behaviors of information expertstogether with their causes against information technologies and to reveal the reasons for thenegative attitude towards information technologies. The study creates a road map for moreeffective use of information technologies within this field. To conduct the study, data werecollected through Technology Acceptance Model scale which is directed to information expertsin charge within libraries of state and foundation universities and implied to 300 participantsselected by random sampling from between 1417 information experts. The data collected by thesurvey technique were analyzed through the IBM SPSS 25 and AMOS 24.0.0 programs. In additionto descriptive statistics to determine the qualifications of the participants; normality test, reliabilityand validity analysis were conducted to evaluate the study data and regression analysis wasapplied to test the research hypotheses. As a result of the research, all hypotheses were supportedand a positive relationship was determined between the variables in the model.

Özet

Bu çalışmanın amacı, bilgi uzmanlarının bilgi teknolojileri karşısında sergiledikleri tutum vedavranışları nedenleriyle birlikte incelemek, bilgi teknolojilerine karşı gösterilen olumsuz tavrınsebeplerini ortaya koymaktır. Çalışma bu alanda bilgi teknolojilerinin daha etkin kullanımıhususunda yol haritası çıkarmaktadır. Araştırmanın yürütülmesi için Türkiye’de faaliyet gösterendevlet ve vakıf üniversitelerine bağlı kütüphanelerde görevli bilgi uzmanlarına yönelik TeknolojiKabul Modeli ölçeği ile veriler toplanmış ve 1417 bilgi uzmanından tesadüfi örneklem ileseçilen 300 katılımcıya uygulanmıştır. Anket tekniği ile toplanan veriler IBM SPSS 25 ve AMOS24.0.0 programları arayıcılığıyla analiz edilmiştir. Katılımcıların niteliklerini belirlemeye yönelikbetimleyici istatistiklerin yanı sıra araştırma verilerini ölçmeye yönelik normallik testi, güvenirlikve geçerlik analizi ve araştırma hipotezlerini test etmek için regresyon analizi uygulanmıştır.Araştırma sonucunda tüm hipotezler desteklenmiş ve modeldeki değişkenler arasında pozitifyönde ilişki tespit edilmiştir.
