Abstract

Abstract: The study area is located on 6 km east of Beypazarı district northwest of Ankara. 1011 plant specimens were collected from the area during March 2007–October 2009. Identification of the specimens revealed the presence of 328 taxa belonging to 198 genera in 54 families. A total of 55 (17 %) taxa are endemic to Turkey. The distrubition ratios of the taxa into the phytogeographical regions are as follows: Irano-Turanian elements are 101 (31 %); Mediterranean 8 (2.4 %), East Mediterranean 8 (2.4 %), and Euro–Siberian 6 (1.8 %). Others which their regions unclarified are 205 (62.5 %).
