Electric Buses in Turkish Public Transportation System

Abstract

The concept of sustainable transportation stands out as an approach that increases its importance in the public transportation system worldwide and keeps efficiency at the forefront. Nowadays, developments in the field of transportation technologies are moving towards the transition from internal combustion engine vehicles to electric motor vehicles. The reduced fossil fuels make the supply of energy difficult, increasing the tendencies towards alternative energy. In traditional transportation systems with internal combustion engines that have a great impact on environmental pollution, transition trials for concept change are increasing day by day in our country as well as in public transport vehicles with electric drive systems. As the world's urban population continues to grow, identifying sustainable, low-cost transportation options becomes more critical, with electric buses becoming more prominent in reducing air emissions from harmful transportation, and lower operating costs for improving urban air quality. This study about the current situation in Turkey, which is electrically driven wheel transportation systems used by the public mass transportation authorities across the country have been outlined in detail. Along Turkey existing electric bus manufacturers, the main technical specifications as set forth in made procurement, put the results associated with determine the preferred criteria for buses electrically Administration, the Administration concerned made in the procurement process, especially approaches and public mass transportation systems for the challenges of the present in the transition to electric bus concept condition general view. Özet

Sürdürülebilir ulaşım konsepti, dünya geneli toplu ulaşım sistemleri içerisindeki önemi her geçen gün artan ve verimliliği ön plandatutan bir yaklaşım olarak göze çarpmaktadır. Günümüzde ulaşım teknolojileri alanındaki gelişmelere bakıldığında içten yanmalı motorluaraçlardan elektrik motorlu araçlara doğru bir geçiş süreci izlenmektedir. Azalan fosil kaynaklı yakıtlar, enerjinin tedarikinizorlaştırmakta, alternatif enerjiye olan yönelimleri arttırmaktadır. Özellikle çevre kirliliği üzerinde büyük etkisi bulunan içten yanmalımotorlara sahip geleneksel ulaşım sistemlerinde, konsept değişikliğine dair geçiş denemeleri bütün dünyada olduğu gibi ülkemizde deelektrikli tahrik sistemine sahip toplu taşım araçları başta olmak üzere her geçen gün artmaktadır.Dünyanın kentsel nüfusu artmaya devam ettikçe, sürdürülebilir, düşük maliyetli ulaşım seçeneklerini belirlemek daha kritik halegelmektedir. Bu açıdan elektrikli otobüsler, zararlı ulaşım kaynaklı egzoz emisyonları azaltmanın ve şehirlerdeki hava kalitesiniiyileştirmenin yansıra düşük işletme maliyetleri ile ön plana çıkmaktadır.Bu çalışmada Türkiye kamu toplu ulaşım otoriteleri tarafından ülke genelinde kullanılan elektrik tahrikli olan lastik tekerlekli ulaşımsistemlerine dair mevcut durum detaylı olarak ortaya konulmuştur. Türkiye’deki mevcut elektrikli otobüs üreticileri, yapılan ihalelerdeortaya konulan teknik şartnameleri esas alan, İdarelerin elektrikli otobüsler için belirlediği tercih kriterleri ile ortaya konulan sonuçları,ilgili İdareler başta olmak üzere alım süreçlerindeki yapılan yaklaşımlar ve kamu toplu ulaşım sistemleri için elektrikli otobüs konseptinegeçişte mevcut durumdaki zorluklara dair genel görünüme yer verilmiştir.Bu anlamda kamu ölçeğinde sunulan toplu ulaşım hizmetlerinde lastik tekerlekli ulaşım sistemlerde elektrikli otobüs kullanmak isteyenyerel yönetimler için referans niteliği taşıyan bu çalışma ile Türkiye ölçeğinde mevcut durum analizi ortaya konulmuştur.
