Abstract

This article examines Armenian terrorism which began in the 1880’s and has continued until quite recently by delineating its history into three distinct periods. Particular emphasis is placed on the last period which encompasses the years of 1973-1986, during which the reasons goading the Armenians to engage in terrorist activities, the situation in the Middle East, the establishment of Armenian terrorist organizations and the reasons leading to the termination of such activities is assessed.

Bu makale Ermeni terörünün başladığı 1880’lerden günümüze kadar üç döneme ayırarak ele almakta ve son dönem olan 1973-1986 yılları üzerinde özellikle durarak, bu dönemde Ermenileri teröre yönelten nedenleri, Orta Doğu’daki durumu, Ermeni terör örgütlerinin kuruluşunu, eylemlerini ve bu terörü sona erdiren nedenlerini incelemektedir.
