The effects of various rotation systems on some soil physical properties and soil-water relations

Abstract
This study investigated the effect of long-term 7 rotation systems on physical properties and soil-water relationships under Erzurum dry conditions. Results from the analysis show that the systems with forage legumes improved more favourably physical properties and soil-water relations compared with other systems.
Özet
Bu araştırmada Erzurum kıraç koşullarında sürdürülen 7 farklı ekim nöbeti sisteminin toprakların bazı fiziksel özellikleri ile toprak-su ilişkileri üzerine etkisi incelenmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda, baklagil yem bitkilerinin yer aldığı sistemlerin, toprakların fiziksel özellikleri ile toprak-su ilişkilerini, diğerlerine göre daha olumlu yönde geliştirdiği tespit edilmiştir.
