Abstract

In this study, clinical status, treatment, acute phase proteins, oxidant and antioxidant status, changes in serum biochemistry and hematological parameters in Bovine Respiratory Disease Complex (BRDC) in cattle were investigated. A total of 30 cattle were used in the study. The sick animals included in the study were divided into two groups. Group I (n = 10) given tulathromycin + flunixin-meglumine + Vitamin E and selenium combination. Group II (n = 10) given tulathromycin + flunixin-meglumine. Blood samples were collected one time from the control group (n = 10), and four times (pre-treatment and in 1, 3, 5 days of post-treatment) from the patient groups. Serum acute phase proteins (Hp and SAA), biochemical and hematological analyzes, total antioxidant (TAS) and total oxidant (TOS) levels were determined from all samples. Bu çalışmada, sığırlarda solunum sistemi kompleksi (BRDC) hastalığında klinik, tedavi, akut faz proteinler, oksidant ve anti oksidant durumu, serum biyokimyası ve hematolojik parametrelerdeki değişmeler araştırıldı. Çalışmada toplam 30 sığır kullanıldı. Çalışma kapsamına alınan hasta hayvanlar iki gruba ayrıldı. I. Gruptaki hayvanlara (n=10), tulatromycin +Flunixin meglumin + Vitamin E ve selenyum kombinasyonu uygulandı. II. gruptaki hayvanlara (n=10) tulatromycin+ flunixin meglumin uygulandı. Kontrol grubundan (n=10) tek sefer, hasta gruplarda tedavi öncesi (0. gün) ve tedavi sonrası 1, 3 ve 5. günlerde kan ve serum örnekleri alınarak biyokimyasal, hematolojik analizlerle serum akut faz proteinleri (Hp ve SAA), Total antioksidant (TAS) ve Total oksidant düzeyleri (TOS) ölçüldü.
