Abstract

Testament of Turkish literature is one of the oldest types of political, medical, private and religious-mystical issues as written in verse and prose works of work. Classical Turkish and Turkish Folk Literature, literature in a tradition which continues testament is the name of writing; the Turkish Sufi Literature is a privileged place has become a kind. Various forms with different volumes testaments are written. One of them is in the form of letters written testament to the special. Özet

Vasiyet-nâmeler; Türk Edebiyatının en eski türlerinden olup siyasi, tıbbi, özel ve dinî-tasavvufi konularda manzum ve mensur olarak yazılmış çok sayıda esere ad olmuştur. Klasik Türk Edebiyatı ve Türk Halk Edebiyatında ,,iştirak edilen bir gelenek" hâlinde devam eden vasiyet-nâme yazıcılığı, Türk Tasavvuf Edebiyatında ayrıcalıklı bir yere sahip olup bir tür hâlini almıştır. Çeşitli nazım şekilleriyle değişik hacimlerde vasiyet-nâmeler kaleme alınmıştır. Bunlardan birisi de mektup şeklinde yazılan özel vasiyetnâmelerdir. Bu çalışmada incelenen örnek ise, Kânûnî Sultan Süleyman"ın Şehzâde Mustafa"ya ilim ve maarif hakkında yazdığı vasiyet mektubudur
