Abstract
Stellate ganglion block is one of the sympathetic block tecniques administered by the anesthesiologists as it has extensive indications and is very easy to perform. Thus, the conditions of reanimation should be present in order to treat the complication to appear while Stellate Ganglion block was performed. As we had seen in this case we discussed the complications of Stellate ganglion block by considering the loss of conscious and respiratory arrest.
Özet
Stellate ganglion bloğu geniş endikasyonu ve teknik olarak uygulama kolaylığı nedeni ile anestezistlerce çok sık kullanılan sempatik blok yöntemlerinden biridir. Nadir de olsa önemli komplikasyonlara neden olabilen bu blok tekniği dikkatli takip gerektirmektedir. Bu nedenle Stellate ganglion bloku yapılırken oluşabilecek komplikasyonların tedavisi için yoğun bakım koşullarının bulunması gereklidir. Bir olgu nedeniyle karşılaştığımız bilinç kaybı ve solunum arrestini irdeleyip, Stellate ganglion blokuna bağlı gelişebilecek komplikasyonları tartıştık.
