Palmo-plantar hyperkeratosis: A rare findings of juvenile dermatomyositis

Abstract
Juvenile dermatomyositis (JDM) is one of the juvenile idiopathic inflammatory myopathies which is characterized by inflammation of the muscles and skin. Although there are extensive cutenous manifestations in JDM, palmo-plantar hyperkeratosis has been reported rarely. A patient with JDM and palmo-plantar. hyperkeratosis is presented and clinical significance of that finding is discussed.
Özet
Juvenil dermatomyozit (JDM), başlıca adale ve cilt enflamasyonu ile karektrerize, juvenil idyopatik inflamatuvar myopatilerden biridir. JDM' de çok sayıda cilt bulgusu olmasına rağmen palmo-plantar hiperkeratoz çok nadiren bildirilmiştir. Burada palmo-plantar htperkeratoz gösteren bir vaka takdim edilip bu bulgunun klinik önemi üzerinde duruldu.
