Biatrial surgical applications via superior transseptal approach

Abstract
Most surgeons have been interested in especially superior and inferior transseptal approches in order to obtain excellent exposure as the key of success in mitral valve surgery for these reason these a approaches were become preferably using method. In our clinic, the cases, who were operated using classical and superior transseptal approaches through biatrial incision, were evaluated especially in terms of atrail arrhytmia in early and the late period, and residual ASD, duration of the operation, bleeding, and the results was observed to be encouraging.

Mitral kapak cerrahisinde başarının anahtarı olan mükemmel ekspojuru sağlamak için, özellikle superior ve inferior transseptal yaklaşımlar çoğu cerrah tarafından ilgi görmüş ve tercih edilir hale gelmiştir. Kliniğimizde klasik ve superior transseptal yaklaşım yoluyla biatrial insizyonla öpere edilen olgular, özellikle erken ve geç dönemde atrial aritmi, rezidüv ASD, cerrahi süresi ve kanama miktarları açısından değerlendirildi ve sonuçların cesaret verici olduğu gözlendi.
