An Analysis on Buhûrîzâde Mustafa Itrî Efendi’s Yürüksemâî Titled “Tûti-i Mucize Gûyem” in The Context of Maqam, Rhtym, Composition and Lyrics

Abstract

This study has been carried out specifically with the aim of revealing the function and effectiveness of the Sufism in the non-religious forms of Classical Turkish Music. In this context; one of the most important composers of Classical Turkish Music, Buhûrîzâde Mustafa Itri Efendi's famous work titled "Tûti-i Mucize Gûyem" has been studied. "Descriptive" method has been used for the study. The "Survey" model has been used in the descriptive method. All the data obtained through these techniques used for the research subject has been analyzed and interpreted. The universe of the research consists of the works belonging to Buhûrîzâde Mustafa Itrî Efendi and the sample consists of the analysis of Buhûrîzâde Mustafa Itrî Efendi's Segâh Yürüksemâî titled "Tûti-i Mucize Gûyem" in terms of Maqam, composition, and lyrics. The introduction part of the research includes information about music-literature-Sufism relationship. In the Method part, information about the research model, the universe and sample of the study and the content of the sample, the data collection tools used in the collection of data, and the methodology of how the collected data are included. In the following part, general information about the mystical elements in the poetic theme, lyric, and about the composer of the work which will be frequently encountered in the study are given. In Findings and Interpretation part, the work has been analyzed in terms of Maqam, rhythm, and composition. In the conclusion part, the evaluations obtained as a result of the findings and comments are given.

Bu çalışma, esasen Klâsik Türk Mûsikîsi din-dışı formlarındasıklıkla kullanılan “tasavvufî mazmûnlar”ın nasıl bir işleve sahipolduğunu ve anlamdaki etkinliğini ortaya koymak amacıylagerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu bağlamda; Klâsik Türk Mûsikîsi’nin enönemli bestekârlarından biri olan Buhûrîzâde Mustafa ItrîEfendi’nin ünlü eseri “Tûti-i Mucize Gûyem” isimli eseriincelemeye alınmıştır.Araştırmada “Betimsel” yöntem kullanılmıştır. Betimsel yöntemkapsamında yer alan “Tarama” (Survey) modelindenyararlanılmıştır. Araştırma konusuna yönelik olarak kullanılanbu teknikler aracılığı ile elde edilen tüm veriler analiz edilmiş veyorumlanmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini Buhûrîzâde Mustafa ItrîEfendi’ye ait eserler, örneklemini ise Buhûrîzâde Mustafa ItrîEfendi’nin Segâh Yürüksemâîsi “Tûti-i Mucize Gûyem” isimlieserin Makam, Usûl ve Beste-Güfte Açısından Analizioluşturmaktadır.Araştırmanın giriş bölümünde; mûsikî-edebiyat-tasavvufilişkisine dâir bilgilere yer verilmiştir. Bu bölümü takip edenYöntem kısmında ise; araştırmanın hangi araştırma modeli ileyürütüldüğü, çalışmanın evren ve örnekleminin nasıloluşturulduğu ve örneklemin içeriği, verilerin toplanmasındakullanılan veri toplama araçları ve toplanan verilerin nasıl analizedildiklerine ilişkin yöntem bilgilerine yer verilmiştir. Yöntemkısmından sonraki bölümde; çalışma dâhilinde sıkçakarşılaşılacak olan mazmûn ve güftelerdeki tasavvufî unsurlar ileeserin bestekârı hakkında genel bilgiler verilmiştir. Bulgular veYorum olarak adlandırılan bölümde ise eser; güfte, makam veusûl açısından analiz edilmiştir. Çalışmanın son bölümü olanSonuç bölümünde ise bulgular ve yorum neticesinde elde edilentespitlere yer verilmiştir.
