Old unreduced medial fracture-dislocation of the elbow: Case report

Abstract
Three-months old unreduced medial fracturedislocation of the elbow of a 40-year-old female and its treatment is presented. In this very rare entity; good result has been achieved by open reduction, excision of the fractured fragment of the capitellum and the deformed radial head and early motion with permanent axillary catheterisation. Follow-up period is 26 months.

40 yaşında bayan hastanın, üç aylık eski sol dirsek medial kırıklı çıkığı ve tedavisi sunulmuştur. Çok nadir olan bu olguda; açık redüksiyon, kapitellumun kırık fragmanı ve deforme radius başının eksizyonunu takiben, kalıcı aksiller kateterizasyonla bağlanan erken hareket ile iyi sonuç alınmıştır. Takip süresi 26 aydır.
