ALACA WEAVING AS PART OF BURDUR MEHMET AKİF ERSOY PUBLIC EDUCATION CENTER STUDIES

Abstract

Public education aims to teach new knowledge and skills that will create changes in adults behaviors, thinking and actions. To realize this purpose, it is necessary todetermine the educational requirements, interests of adults, determine the educational tools, make plans about educational works, practice and evaluate those plans and make sure adults take part in this process. In Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy Public Education Center, this opportunity is provided to local women. In this study, a section and weaving tradition of the region (Alaca weaving) from the said center s works was taken.

Özet

Halk eğitimi yetişkinin davranış, düşünce ve eylemlerinde değişiklik yaratmayı sağlayacak yeni bilgilerin, becerilerin kazandırılmasını amaçlar. Bu amacın gerçekleşebilmesi için yetişkinlerin eğitsel gereksinimlerinin, ilgilerinin ortaya çıkartılması, eğitsel araçların saptanması, öğretim işleri için planlamanın yapılması, uygulanması ve değerlendirilmesi veyetişkinlerin bu sürece katılması sağlanmalıdır. Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy Halk Eğitim Merkezinde, yöredeki kadınlara bu imkân sağlanmaktadır. Bu çalışmada söz konusumerkezinfaaliyetlerinden bir kesitve yörenin dokumageleneği (Alaca dokumaları) ele alınmıştır.
