GRAPHIC DESIGN FOR SOCIALLY AWARENESS

Abstract

Graphic Design plays an important role in effecting and orienting society and creating visualcultural texture of the world. The visible depletion of the resources, deterioration of ecologicalbalance with environmental negative factors, diseases etc. effecting the society in the21stcentury, has led graphic designers to create social responsibility design works. The aim of theresearch is to set forth the role of graphic design which is an effective communication tool, inraising awareness of the society about social responsibility and its power to create changethrough a literature review.

Grafik tasarım, dünyanın kültürel görsel dokusunu oluşturmada, toplumu etkilemede ve istediğidoğrultuda yönlendirmede önemli bir rol oynamaktadır. 21. yy.da gözle görünür bir biçimdekaynakların azalması, çevresel olumsuz faktörlerle ekolojik dengenin bozulması, hastalıklar vs. gibitoplumu derinden etkileyen sorunlar, grafik tasarımcıları, sosyal sorumluluk alanında tasarımçalışmalarına yönlendirmiştir. Araştırmanın amacı, etkili bir iletişim aracı olan grafik tasarımın,sosyal sorumluk alanında toplumu bilinçlenmedeki rolünü ve değişimi getirici gücünü literatürtaraması ile ortaya koymaktır.
