THE REFLECTIONS OF VISUAL PREJUDICES ONTO PORTRAYAL PROCESSES

Abstract

In this research, the reflection process of the visual prejudices in the process of subjective perception which is seen as an artistic problem is discussed. The perceived world is a world in which the subject perceives in a different way and in a distinctive form from the objective world. The Problems related to portrayal is due to the process that hinder a correct vision. Influenced by the memory images the vision, in the process of portrayal, is unable to perceive sensory data objectively, it perceives the sensory data as a “hybrid image” resulting from a combination of the memory images and sensory data. Reflecting on the process of portrayal as visual prejudices those “hybrid images” restrain an objective portrayal process. By the awareness of visual prejudices, an objective outcome can be achieved in the process of portrayal. Furthermore, the memory images that can not be completely hindered, through the awareness on this issue can be controlled and can be taken as an auxiliary function in the process of portrayal.

Bu araştırmada, sanatsal bir sorun olarak görülen öznel algılama sürecinde görselönyargıların betimleme sürecine yansımaları ele alınmaktadır.Algılanan dünya, öznenin, nesnel dünyadan farklı ve kendine özgü algıladığı bir dünyadır.Betimleme ile ilgili yaşanan sorunlar, doğru görmeyi engelleyen ve öznenin algıladığıöznel süreçlerden kaynaklanmaktadır. Betimleme sürecinde bellek imgelerinin etkisindekalan görüş, duyu verisini nesnel olarak algılayamamakta; bellek imgesi ile duyu verisininkombinasyonundan oluşan bir tür melez imge olarak algılamaktadır. Görsel önyargılarolarak betimleme sürecine yansıyan söz konusu melez imgeler, nesnel bir betimlemeyikısıtlamaktadır. Görsel önyargılara yönelik farkındalık ile betimleme sürecinde daha nesnelbir sonuç alınabilir. Ayrıca bu konudaki farkındalık sayesinde, tamamen engellenemeyenbellek imgeleri kontrol altına alınabilir ve betimlemenin hizmetinde kullanılabilir.Bu araştırma, literatür taramasına dayalı betimsel bir araştırmadır. Bu araştırmadabetimleme sürecinde görsel önyargıların rolüne dikkat çekerek bu konuda farkındalıkdüzeyinin artırılması amaçlanmaktadır.
