IMPORTANCE OF FOOTER AREA IN WEBSITES AND SUGGESTIONS FOR ITS DESIGN

Abstract

Abstract: Today, websites have more responsibility in terms of visuality and functionality as a result of the social media accounts of institutions/organizations or personal brands being easily accessible based on the desire to access information faster. Website visitors who want to access information faster and be redirected to useful links require areas that fulfill their needs faster. Footer areas, which include the more detailed contents of websites such as calls to action, registration forms and links to social media accounts, are the areas that can best fulfill these needs. A footer area that is designed to be functional and effective also gives visitors the message that the institution/organization or person owning the website does their job professionally and meticulously "from beginning to end". For this reason, the design of this area should not be overlooked when designing websites. This study is intended to be a guide to the importance of footer areas in web interfaces and the more effective presentation of their contents for web interface designers.

Günümüzde bilgiye daha hızlı ulaşma isteğine bağlı olarak kurum/kuruluş ya da kişisel markaların sosyalmedya hesaplarına ulaşmanın kolaylığı sonucunda web sitelerine görsel ve işlevsel anlamda daha fazlasorumluluk düşmektedir. Web sitelerinde bilgiye daha hızlı ulaşmak ve yararlı linklere yönlendirilmekisteyen site ziyaret ileri ihtiya larına daha hızlı cevap veren alanlara ihtiya duymaktadır. u ihtiya laraen iyi cevap verebilen alan ise eylem ağrıları kayıt formları sosyal medya hesabı bağlantıları gibi sitenindaha ayrıntılı i eriklerini kapsayan alt bilgi (footer) alanlarıdır.İşlevsel ve etkili bir şekilde tasarlanan bir alt bilgi alanı ziyaret iye site sahibi kurum/kuruluş ya da kişininişini “başından sonuna” özenli ve profesyonel bir şekilde yaptığı mesajını da vermektedir. u yüzden websiteleri tasarlanırken bu alanın tasarımının göz ardı edilmemesi gerekmektedir. u alışmanın web arayüzlerindeki alt bilgi alanlarının önemi ile birlikte i eriklerinin daha etkili sunumu i in web ara yüztasarımcılarına bir rehber olması ama lanmıştır.
